Steam iron

Your appliance has been designed to be used with tap water or demineralized water.

Please do not use: perfumed water, vinegar, starch, descaling agents, ironing aids, or other chemicals as they may cause leaking, brown staining, or damage to your appliance.

1. Set iron’s steam control to ‘No Steam’ and MAX temperature (if your model has a dial)
2. Fill water tank to MAX, turn on iron and unplug the unit when the light goes out.
3. Hold iron over the sink and activate CALC CLEAN – this varies by model (see images for different types).

5. When water tank is empty, plug in and clean the soleplate moving your iron across a piece of cloth.
Repeat process if necessary

Perform the deep clean once a month to prolong your steam generator's lifetime!

Please make sure to pour out water from the boiler, easy de-calc opening and the water tank before starting the process.

1. Tilt the base, remove the easy de-calc knob and pour in 500 ml of water.

2. Tighten the knob back in place and once you set your steam generator base on an even, steady surface fill in the water tank to the Min level of water.

3. Switch on your steam generator and wait 5 minutes.

4. Place your iron on an old piece of cloth then press and hold the steam trigger. While pressing the steam trigger, slowly move the iron back and forth across the cloth. Continue until no more water comes out or until steam comes out.

5. Switch off the steam generator and let it cool down for 2 hours.

6. Remove the easy de-calc knob and let the water flow into a cup. Reinsert the easy de-calc knob and tighten it.
