When your baby is six months old, you can start adding breastmilk, formula or very small amounts of cows’ milk to their weaning diet by adding a few teaspoons to baby rice, porridge and other suitable foods.
Then, when your baby reaches one year, you can offer other kinds of milk as a main drink in addition to a healthy diet of solids. It’s not advised that babies have cows’ milk as a drink before 12 months of age.
